Tammie Ulrich (21 Day Jump Start Program)

The specific meal plans and grocery lists provided during Jen’s program made eating on plan a snap. After the 21 days my blood sugars are back within normal range and I am totally off short-acting insulin!  I lost 11 lbs…and am actually extending my life through building healthy habits.

I have Type 1 diabetes, diagnosed 11 years ago this July.   As my blood sugars were climbing over time, my insulin use was increasing, and so my weight was also on the rise. I needed to get serious about diet and exercise.  The specific meal plans and grocery lists provided during Jen’s program made eating on plan a snap. Having others to reach out to and ask for support when facing temptation was very helpful.  Following the daily exercise routine taught me how to make exercise a habit.  I never stopped!  After the 21 days my blood sugars are back within normal range and I am totally off short-acting insulin!  And, as an added bonus, I lost 11 lbs!  I am feeling stronger and healthier, have learned a lot about clean eating, and am actually extending my life through building healthy habits.
