In 3 weeks, I lost 6 inches and 8 pounds. I am happier, healthier, more patient, full of energy and shopping for new clothes. Jen’s challenge groups and coaching are what got me to that point. Not only have I changed my life for the better, but I’ve also changed the lives of my family. This isn’t a diet. This is a lifestyle change. If I can do it, so can you!
As a stay-at-home to three young kids (7, 4 and 1), I’ve given up an awful lot to care for them. I made those sacrifices willingly and happily. But after years of putting their needs (and my husband’s) ahead of my own I decided it was my turn. That decision didn’t come easily. I spent months feeling certain that I couldn’t find the time eat right and workout. I was scared. I didn’t want to fail or waste money. I was so busy. I was always sleep deprived.
Then something changed. I made the decision to just do it! I took the plunge, bought 21 Day Fix, and joined Jen’s program. It was time for a change. It was time to take care of me! I was taking control and it felt awesome!
In July 2015 I completed my first round of the program with fabulous results! I did all 21 workouts and I followed the eating plan. In 3 weeks, I lost 6 inches and 8 pounds. I felt amazing! I had energy again! My clothes fit differently! I had learned a lot about my body and my diet. I was so proud of what I had accomplished!
After that success I completed two more rounds of Jen’s 21 Day Challenge and continued to have great results. I got stronger, leaner, and healthier. I continued to lose weight. I set a positive and healthy example for my children. In 3 months, I LOST OVER 20 POUNDS and a whole lot of inches! I was happier, healthier, more patient, full of energy and shopping for new clothes. Jen’s challenge groups and coaching are what got me to that point. Jen was always there with words of encouragement, healthy recipes, tips and tricks to fit the workouts in and an understanding ear to listen.
It’s now been 9 months since I started and I’ve lost 40 pounds and kept it off! I’ve had lapses in working out, but the dietary changes have helped me maintain my weight loss even when life gets in the way. I love watching my 4 year old eat a kale salad and get excited when my 7 year old tells me she wants to run a race like mommy did. I feel proud knowing that NOT ONLY HAVE I CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER, BUT I’VE ALSO CHANGED THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY. This isn’t a diet. This is a lifestyle change. If I can do it, so can you!
